Venomrend 2 Posted July 13, 2023 Your Name: Venomrend Age: 31 Your Location: Singapore Average Amount Of Gameplay: I'm on everyday playing around 4 - 6 hours on weekdays, and up to 16 on the weekends if I don't have any plans. Which role would you like: Server Support Why Should I Receive This Position: Randomly found the server when rs nostalgia hit me, checked it out and have stayed ever since. When I start caring about something I'd want it watch it grow and as such, I'd contribute to it any way I can. I'm applying to assist anyone in need of help and try to create a positive experience for them as much as possible in their time in Luna. Staff Experience: Nada. I don't have any experience as a staff for a rsps but I'm a mod for a discord partnered server. I'll learn as I go along trying to break into the new role. I have some experience in conflict resolution as I am currently a senior manager of data management and I was a Lieutenant when I was serving the nation. Rs/Rsps Experience: I've played rs on and off since 2007, not seriously as I don't own a max account, but whatever knowledge I've learned I give back to the community. Goals: I believe any and all kinds of experience contributes to growth and may help in the future. For the server, I'd like to watch it grow into a successful rsps and if my small contributions helped along the way then its all I need. Most importantly, I want this tight-knit community spirit to remain. Weaknesses: My weakness is that I'm a stickler for the rules as I come from a deeply regimental background. I am working on myself to loosen up and just enjoy the company of people. Someone in the Help chat is really annoying, he keeps on asking the same questions and when people tell him to stop he gets aggresive and toxic, how do you handle this situation?: I'd answer their question first if no one had given any answers prior, otherwise if there were answers given but the person didn't understand that well, then I'd try to explain it in another way. Once that is out of the way, I'll start de-escalating the situation and get everyone to move on. If anyone continues then warnings shall be given. If warnings are not enough, then I'll follow the protocols for the next steps. You see a staff member abusing his powers, what do you do and why?: I'd just document everything via screen record and present it to the owner as I am unable to do anything beyond that. A player is asking you for free stuff, what is your response?: I'd point the player in the right direction for their request. It is after all, free. Literally If a player harasses another player, what punishment should they receive? It depends on how hard the harassment was. If players are just joking around, no harm done. If being specifically targeted, then warnings while trying to de-escalate chat otherwise, escalating punishment from there. Will you follow the rules when you punish a player?
